And the winner is...the adulterer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey folks! Its me again ur friendly neighbourhood spiderman yada yada yada ( i seriously need to start looking for a new intro. This Spiderman thingy is so tired! Eish!!) Niways, I've not been up in here in a while. Busy busy busy...But I'm back now and this time for good (Why do I suddenly get this feeling I've heard that before? Hmmmm...)

So what's been happening? Quite a lot I must say. The latest is that BBA 2 is officially over and Richard Bezuidenhot from Tanzania won the 100k USD!! Now except someone is trying to allude to some sort of conspiracy theory that caused him to emerge winner, we are supposed to believe that Africa actually voted this brat winner!!! That is quite scary. I mean, like were are all our African values going? I can bet on my batman boxers that even in the so-called liberal western societies, Richard wouldn't have even smelt the top three. His supporters have been talking bullcrap about how entertaining his stay in the house was. I guess that is the sad depth to which our depraved continent has sunk; where open adultery can be viewed as "entertaining"

Don't get me wrong. I am a realist and I am awake that that is not the worst vice plaguing our world right now. But I'm of the opinion that the fact that it is happening doesn't make it right. Ok! Enough already! Shish! I was beginning to sound so serious, I was beginning to scare myself. Abeg o! Congratulations Richard. I hope Ricki, your wife, sues you and you have to give away 50% of that money in alimony settlements. Now that would be poetic justice...
2nd base o jare! Yeyerity!

He's Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!

Yep! Its me ur friendly neighbourhood spiderman and I was just swinging by and decided to stop and say hello... Oh well, feels good to be back in this space. Sorry I had to take a french leave. It was due to the exigencies of work, bla bla bla (Did I hear a "Mau" squeak?)
Anyways, I'm back now and that's all that matters.
So what's being happening all this while? Hmmm...let me see...Oh yes! BBA! All them "untouchables" (remember them? Max, Lerato, Bertha and kwaku) have been shown the way out one after the other. Matter of fact, I am thinking of writing a book or recording an album titled: The demystification of the Untouchables. Belly Laugh
They fell like one after the other and even though they have all continually pledged allegiance to the 'untouchable toga,' at least they are no longer in my face and that's all that matters to me. Such an annoying bunch...***Hissssss***

Oh, I heard some really sad news this morning about the death of South African reggae star, Luck Dube Crying 2 Blowing Nose I read that the guy was shot right in front of his kids by armed men trying to snatch his car. So sad. He'll be sorely missed for sure. He was such a great singer and song writer; conscious lyricist all the way...now i'm too sad to write anymore...see y'all later...

Fake nominations my foot!!!

Original wuruwuru!! That was my initial reaction after watching the nomination show earlier today. When Kabelo came up with the story about the fake nominations, I was quite miffed. how come it was only when the long knives were drawn out for Lerato that they suddenly decided on the "fake nominations" Yeah right! I am starting to believe that Mr. Big Brother is re-writing the rules of the game as we go along.
But anyway, its his show so we don't have a choice but to wait another long 7 days before we can take a bite out of Bibendum (AKA Lerato, AKA Whale, AKA Hippo, AKA etc etc) two-faced consort, Bertha. Keep the knives sharpened.

PS: For all of you peeps reading my blog without bothering to leave comments...thanx for visiting anyway. But please leave your comments so I can know your opinions. C y'all tomorrow.

Hurray!!! Max is out!

Here's the news, read by moi. The myth surrounding the "untouchables" was broken this evening, when Maxwell, the housemate representing Zambia was evicted nay, swept out of the Big Brother Africa house.
Max's fate was sealed by an overwhelming vote pattern that saw 11 of the 12 participating countries and the rest of Africa voting to evict him. Only his home country Zambia, voted to keep him in.
The atmosphere in the house over the last one week had been tense with the so-called untouchables adopting a boisterous posture and thratening fire and brimstone on the other housemates....blah blah blah and blah and that is that for the news.

Oh boy am I excited! Sweet victory and I'm so happy for Mr. Big Brother. What with all the allegations that swept across the media all week about how the show had been rigged to favour certain (read Lerato and Max) housemates. Oh, that look on Lerato (AKA Bibendum) face was wonderful. That fool deserves all the pain that comes to her. I hope the next time she sheds tears, it will be at her own eviction.
Now the stakes are high and the odds are stacked against the untouchables (former?) Though i am not a prophet, i think I already know how the votes will go tomorrow. I hazard a prediction as stated below:

Lerato: Code and Richard
Kweku: Ofunneka and Code
Bertha: Code and Maureen
Code: Bertha and Kweku
Richard: Lerato and Kweku
Tatiana: Lerato and Kweku
Maureen: Bertha and Lerato
Ofunneka: Lerato and Kweku

If it goes this way tomorrow, Kweku and Lerato will be up for eviction and no prize for guessing who'll be shedding crocodile tears next week. (hey don't ask me. i don't know either)

Anyway, its game on. Been nice hanging out with y'all today. Let's do it again tomorrow and please, don't forget to tune to DSTV Channel 37 for the nominations tomorrow.
This is definitely the era of the long knives.

Big Brother Blues

How many of you have been following Big Brother Africa 2? Have you seen anything more annoying? Well I must confess I have not been following the show religiously as such given my tight work schedule, but the little I have watched about the goings on in the BB house in recent times leave an unsavoury taste in the mouth.

Ok, for those of you who have not been following the show,(where y'all been anyway?) here's the plot: 12 housemates were selected from 12 different African countries. One person gets evicted every week during the show that will span 98 days until the last man (or woman) left standing wins the prize; a whopping $100,000!!!!!!!!! (Imagine all you could do with all that money...and someone is going to get all that by simply waking up and sleeping and basically being themselves...life is so unfair. but anyway,)Three housemates have been shown the door out of the house living nine. Recently, however, a strange trend has emerged in the house. Back biting, gossiping and inflated egoism have become the order of the day. The most annoying aspect is the fact that some of the housemates that came up for eviction last week took umbrage because they hitherto, considered themselves "untouchable" Four bloody jokers who believe that the rest of the house and indeed Africa should kowtow to them because they "bring entertainment." These 4 are made up of an empty Ghanaian who cannot quite make up his mind about which country's accent to adopt; now sounding like an American, then like a drunk mexican and then when he gets carried away, he reverts to his unmistakable Ghanaian accent. This joke of a fellow spins the most fabulous yearns you can ever think of. He wants us to believe he has hung out with some of the major players in the world's entertainment sector. Ha! Yeah right! Then there's lerato from SA. This loud and foul-mouthed, overweight and ill-shaped slob thinks she is the best thing that has ever happened to the house nay, Africa. All this Bibendum (Remember him? The Michelin mascot?) look alike does is lay about the house, smoke cigarettes and talk down at other house mates. She determines (wishes) the pace in the house and shouts down any dissenting voice. She is a great manipulator of minds and several of the housemates defer to her every whim. She is a major player among the "untouchables" and she is palying the game to the fullest.
Next on this list is Max. This fool is so besotted with Lerato that he lets her push him around. His nomination for eviction shook the entire house and widened the cracks that already existed. Though he has tried to keep a straight face and play up an image of calmness and nonchalance all through the week, his attitude and body language betrays the turmoil he feels in his heart. If the messages on the website and the sms strap on TV are anything to go by, then his days in the house will probably end today. He along with his crew, "the untouchables" have generated so much ill-will from viewers and its beginning to look like Max will not only be voted out, but actually swept out of the house. Last on this list is Bertha. Now what can I say about this Zimbabwean? She started out playing the role of the archetypal miss-goodie-two-shoes with all the early morning prayers and reflections about "how she is not like the other girls" But she has since shed that toga and bared her fangs. She is a cold-blooded snitch who has a knack for hunting with the wolves and running with the sheep (not too sure I said that right but it would have to suffice lol) She has also dropped the holier than thou image for a careless role in the hay with Kweku, the americo-ghanaian (Ha!) She is currently playing both sides but is unaware that all the housemates can see through her. She is an absolute two-faced snake and is a clear example of the kind of friend yo mama warned you against.
The chips are down and the eviction show will be on TV later this evening. Will Maxwell survive the storm? I sure will keep y'all posted.
